OVERVIEW

Amazon Frontlines is a U.S. 501c3 organization based in the Ecuadorian Amazon working alongside the indigenous organization Alianza Ceibo and the communities of four ancestral nations to advance indigenous rights and autonomy, protect indigenous rainforest territories and cultures, and conserve some of the most biodiverse rainforest on Earth and one of our planet’s greatest defenses against climate change.

We are seeking a passionate and committed technical generalist with natural leadership skills, web design and development mastery, experience as a cloud administrator, data analysis expertise, campaigning notions, and proven experience in nonprofit organizations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the organization’s tech operations in a transversal way
  • Design, code, debug, and manage the organization’s websites
  • Guarantee the availability and security of the tech infrastructure
  • Determine the tech needs in strategic decisions of the organization
  • Promote the digital transformation of the organization and its people
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend innovative creative tech solutions
  • Ongoing support with management of donor and partner database
  • Analyze statistical data and provide periodic insights to the team
  • Improve the existing tech solutions with automated integrations
  • Quarterly trip to the Amazon to meet with locally-based team
  • Collaborate in the design and execution of digital campaigns
  • Conduct guides and trainings on the use of tech tools
  • An interest in the use of technology for social change

  • The Americas, allows remote
